As writer of the book.

A new Australian musical with composer and lyricist, Vidya Makan, and dramaturg, Jonathan Ware, as inaugural group recipients of Create NSW Musical Theatre Fellowship (Established) with Hayes Theatre Company.

Burn Witch Burn (in development)

As writer and co-adaptor.

An adaptation of 1962 film, Burn Witch Burn, for independent company fervour. to be presented at The Old Fitz Theatre in November 2021. Developed with support from Create NSW’s Arts & Cultural Funding Program.

Hope and Wisdom

A monologue for Untrue Romance, an ABC Radio National Fictions program about a maid of honour who goes off-script.


A monologue for Dear Australia, a Playwriting Australia initiative, capturing the stories of everyday people in 2020, with script available online.

The Village

A commission for Q Theatre in Penrith, written with input from the local community and local artists.

Ramadan Rocketship

A short, rapid-response play commissioned for ATYP Home Theatre for young people to perform at home during the COVID-19 shutdown.

Boys Light Up

A solo performance piece about violence, masculinity and racism that toured to The Blue Room’s 2020 Summer Nights season in Perth.

Flame Trees

Short piece about climate change created in consulation with children for Canberra Youth Theatre’s I Am Me festival.

The Magnificent, Terrible Hottie Avery

One-act play written through weekly, co-facilitated workshops with Shopfront’s Senior Ensemble.

Letters to John

Solo show, exploring mental illness and men’s rights activism, performed at Crack Theatre Festival in Newcastle, Fringe World in Perth and Griffin’s Batch Festival in Sydney.

Zak and Reefa’s Bollywood Funeral

Solo, multilingual touring work, incorporating spoken word and dance, performed at Fringe World in Perth, and both You Are Here and Silver Linings festivals in Canberra.

Sweet in the Savoury

Monologue about a young Muslim woman and a young gay man, commissioned and performed in ATYP’s The Voices Project; published in The Voices Project 2014: Bite Me (Sydney: Currency Press, 2014).
